Welcome to "Embrace Your Emotions Through Art," a 3-part art therapy course led by Art Therapist, Leah Zdan. Part 1: Introduction to Art Therapy and Self-Expression Part 2: Exploring Symbolism and Personal Narratives Part 3: The Art of Moving On (Healing through Art) During this course you will: - gain a comprehensive understanding of the therapeutic benefits of art, particularly in releasing and processing emotions, fostering a holistic approach to mental and emotional wellbeing. - develop an understanding of the emotional significance of colours, enabling you to express and interpret emotions through a diverse colour palette. - establish a personal connection between emotions and colour, fostering self-awareness and reflection. - encourage a non-judgmental attitude towards your artistic expression and the creative process, embracing the uniqueness of their individual artistic journeys. - experience the cathartic and transformative process of creating an Emotional Release Painting, using art as a powerful outlet for the expression and release of pent-up emotions. By the end of the course, you will have experienced holistic creative growth, gained insights into the connection between art and emotions, and discovered a therapeutic outlet to express yourself.
